"It wasn't so much we got 12 goals, it was how we got them," Keinzley said. "We strung a lot of passes together and spread the ball around nicely, it was pretty good stuff."
Central fullback Emma Davidson was Wairarapa United's player of the match, defending solidly and linking well with her midfield in attacking situations.
The prolific-scoring Lizzie Kedwell came up with a double hat-trick on this occasion and was a constant threat whenever the ball came her way and Meisha Boone and Sandy Rogers were others to excel in what was an excellent team effort.
Sunday's win meant Wairarapa United went through their 2014 season undefeated, scoring a massive 145 goals while conceding just four. Unfortunately no official stats are kept on individual scorers but Kedwell, in particular, would have had a phenomenal strike rate in that respect.
Impressive as their form has been Keinzley believes the best is still to be seen from his squad with many of the players being virtual newcomers to the sport and having huge scope for improvement as a consequence.
"Obviously first division will be a big step up, but I can't see any reason why they shouldn't be very competitive there too," Keinzley said. "Their attitude is outstanding and that goes a long way."
The Wairarapa United seconds men's team also scored a crucial win at Howard Booth Park on Sunday, coming from 2-0 down to beat Victoria University 3-2 and move from 10th and last on the points table to eighth. Boosted by the services of Central League regulars Hamish Watson and Adam Cowan, which is allowable under the rules, Wairarapa United found themselves on the back foot early but fought back strongly to deserve their victory.
Watson, Cowan and Kurtis Paine were the goal scorers.
