Sky City, in association with the Herald on Sunday, has today launched a search for a deserving New Zealander who will receive a Christmas present up to a value of $10,000.
Do you know someone who has done something special for family or friends, is a tireless community worker or
who deserves a spot of good luck?
Nominations must include a 250-word entry on why the candidate deserves to win and what their Christmas wish would entail. Entries are open on the Sky City (Auckland) Facebook page or can be posted or dropped in a special box in the Auckland casino atrium. The winner will be named in the Herald on Sunday on December 12.

In a separate promotion, people who spend $20 at one of Sky City's restaurants and bars before December 12 can go in the draw to win a $75,000 Mercedes-Benz C200 CGI Sport Edition car, similar to one being hung from the side of the Sky Tower. Only those over 20 can enter.
Meanwhile, the Sky City Christmas laser light show runs every day at 8pm from November 8 to December 12 on the side of the Sky Tower.
