A 1-year-old baby rushed to Starship Hospital last night was accidentally injured at home, police have confirmed.
Detective Senior Sergeant Glen Baldwin said there were no suspicious circumstances.
The girl's condition was originally said to be critical. She was rushed to Starship Hospital from a Blockhouse Bay address at about
6pm yesterday.
Starship and police have confirmed the girl is now in a stable condition and is expected to recover.
