Now, Ed Sheeran has topped Apple's charts.
The pop star's hit Shape of You has been named Apple Music's most streamed song in New Zealand, and his album ÷ is the service's most stream album.
Sheeran, who will perform six times in New Zealand next year, has already been named Spotify's most-streamed artist.
Yesterday, his episode of Carpool Karaoke and the clip for Shape of You were named among the top 10 most watched videos on YouTube.
Shape of You also featured twice in YouTube's most watched music videos list, with the official video at No. 1, and the lyric video at No. 10.
The only local act to feature in Apple's charts is Lorde, with Green Light at No. 8 in the song charts, and Melodrama No. 3 in the album charts.
