Even before Lyttelton became world famous, one name had already been established as a beacon and mentor for the next generation.
Al Park has been at the forefront
of all things music out of Christchurch, in the halcyon days behind the counter at Echo Records while gigging endlessly around the city, and then opening Al's Bar which provided a home for fresh new bands and sounds.
On Better Already a bunch of today's luminaries pay tribute to the songwriting aspect of Al's life in music.
