Her latest post about the two bathrooms has garnered a massive reaction online with nearly 30,000 retweets and 100,000 likes.
"The first one is like Russian roulette, there are times when you could sh*t and not die," Schauer said about one of the images.
"The second one, you slip down the stairs almost every single time."
It didn't take long for people to weigh in on the "nightmare" designs.
"Here's the thing, in both scenarios you end up naked and dead — however in one of the scenarios you're at your cleanest and the other you're at your dirtiest," one Twitter user commented.
"The interior designers who thought these were good ideas have been charged with attempted involuntary manslaughter," another added.
"I wish I hadn't looked at that stair-side bathtub in the evening. It's going to give me nightmares," a third commented.
"I would 100% die in number 2 but I'd still take my chances with it over 1."
While some decided which bathroom was less of a "death trap", others saw it as an opportunity to share their worst-case bathroom scenarios.
"I believe you will find that this completely carpeted bathroom I found while house hunting is actually worse," one woman said, with her own set of images.
Another woman responded with a photo of a heavily floral bathroom, while another user challenged the posts with an image of a roadside bathroom in Mexico with no door or curtain."
From "stair loos" to bathtubs with wooden hand railings, the tweet soon went viral as more people from all around the world chipped in with their responses.
"Which country makes pink toilet paper," one person asked about the first bathroom that had the washing machine directly above the toilet.
"I honestly can't decide. The purple ceiling is disturbing me the most," said another Twitter user.
Schauer responded to users with comments such as "OH MY GOD", clearly shocked as they continued to share disaster bathrooms images.
