Jeans with moisturising and slimming properties are the latest offering from the fashion world.
Wrangler has unveiled their Denim Spa range, which are infused with hydrating ingredients that moisturise your legs while you wear them, Vogue has reported.
One version of the jeans, Smooth Legs, also promises to reduce the appearance of cellulite and provide a slimming effect.
Lizzie Jagger, the face of the new range, has touted the benefits of the jeans - but some have pointed out she is an unlikely candidate for cellulite treatment.
The Institut Adriant, which tested the jean company's claims, reported that 69 per cent of respondents were left with smoother pins.
However, participants were required to wear the jeans eight hours a day, five days a week for six weeks - and some have questioned the appeal of wearing the same pair of jeans for this long.
The effects of the jeans also last for just 15 days, although a reload spray can stretch their use out for nearly 100 wears.
This isn't the first jean line that has claimed to rid the wearer of cellulite. Mohicano Jeans, which is based in Chile, launched a similar Denim Therapy range last year.
The Wrangler range will be available on asos.com, which offers free shipping to New Zealand, from January 28.
They will retail for £85, or roughly $162NZD.
There's no word yet on whether the jeans will be available in New Zealand stores, but with most trends making their way here eventually, it may only be a matter of time.
