A bikini-clad model in the latest ad campaign for upmarket US baby stroller company Bugaboo has caused a stir amongst mums.

"See how model and mum Ymre Stiekema stays fit and healthy with the Bugaboo Runner," the company posted on its Facebook page last week.

The ad shows Stiekema jogging in a tiny black and white bikini while pushing a baby in one of Bugaboo's strollers, which retail for between US$649-$1765 (NZ$985-$2685) US Magazine reports.

"Seriously why in the world would she be running in this? Horrible promotion!! Not gonna lie she's one fit mama but really?!!!" one commenter posted, while another joked "So thaaaat's what I have been doing wrong.....I need to jog with my baby in a Bugaboo to get my beach body back."

Others adopted a more 'if you've got it flaunt it' attitude, however. "Perfectly shot picture! She is one hot mama! Stop being jealous and move! Simples!" one wrote.
