Each day, resident boomer (okay, he's actually only 48) Chris Reed, will spin a wheel containing eight bits of millennial slang. When it stops, he'll try to work out what the word, or words, it stops on means.
If he gets stuck, which let's face it, he almost inevitably will, our resident Cool Young Person Sinead Corcoran will help him out.
WORD OF THE DAY: "SHADE"
In an absolute plot twist Chris finally guessed a word correctly.
"I actually know this one, because the point of this whole game is so you can throw shade at me, because I'm old," Chris tells Sinead.
"100 per cent. That's exactly right," she tells him.
Spurred on by getting a millennial word right for once, Chris tells Sinead: "I'm going to throw shade at you for throwing shade at me, by doing this to try and mock me."
"Like reverse shade?" asks Sinead.
"Double shade," corrects Chris.
"That is shady AF," Sinead tells him before trying to catch him out. "Do you know what AF means?"
Chris nods and tells her, "can't say that."
Nice try Sinead.
Could the tables be turning on this millennial boomer contest? Stay tuned.
