Oscar nominees Eddie Redmayne, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet will feast on spicy tuna tartare, baked potatoes with caviar, wagyu short rib and chocolate gold statues at the official ceremony after-party.
The stars flock to the Governors Ball after the main event, where the winners can get their statues engravedand the losers can drown their sorrows in whisky foam cocktails served in gold eggs.
Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck and his team will serve 1500 guests 1300 farmed oysters, 10kg of farm-raised caviar and 300 Maine lobsters, as well as 6500 Oscar-shaped flatbreads and 2400 bottles of Piper Heidsieck champagne.

"We are going to top last year with delicious dishes, traditional ones that Adele and John Travolta love like the macaroni and cheese with truffles and chicken pot pie and then new additions like Alaskan king crab Chinese-style, lobster and vegetarian dishes like white grape almond gazpacho, there will be something for everyone."
Puck has been cooking for the Governors Ball for more than 20 years and said he now gets special requests from famous faces who want their favourite dishes prepared on the big night.
He said: "I saw Barbra Streisand a few months ago and she said 'I don't care what you cook as long as you make my chicken pot pie' and a lot of members of the Academy say the same thing and so we make that every year."
Stars with a sweet tooth can enjoy mini doughnuts stuffed with raspberry and champagne marmalade, chocolate passion layer cake, and raspberry panna cotta with champagne caviar, as well as raspberry operas, tiramisu push pops and lemon meringue tart lollipops.

The Governors Ball immediately follows the Oscars ceremony and invited guests include the winners and nominees, as well as the presenters and performers.
The walls of the ballroom will be lined with 170 newly-commissioned caricatures, including those of stars appearing in Oscar-nominated films.
Jeffrey Kurland, a governor of the Academy and chairman of the ball, said: "The theme of this year's Governors Ball is art - the art of making film, and the individuals who create the art.
"You will see drawings created by contemporary illustrators that truly capture the energy and sheer joy of the evening's celebration."
The 88th Oscars will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on February 28.
