A man’s secret rendezvous on the top deck of a cruise ship took a wild turn when his girlfriend spotted him rubbing shoulders with another woman via the boat’s security cameras.

One of influencer Kayla Gardner’s friends was innocently scrolling through CCTV footage available on the TV inside their cabin, when she caught Gardner’s boyfriend in the act.

The “gut wrenching” moment and the Disney World employee’s reaction to her partner’s unfaithful deed went viral after Gardner posted several videos of the incident to her TikTok.

In the first instalment of the four-part story, Ms Gardner explained her partner told her that he was going to “get some food” as an excuse to leave the cabin, before she gave a recap of the whole situation.

Then in the second video, titled “My friend caught him cheating real-time thanks to the ship’s live cameras”, her followers got a front-row seat of Gardner’s reaction to her boyfriend “cheating”.

“Who is she?,” Gardner asks her friend as they squint at the screen, which shows the ship’s pool deck area.

The pair debate over whether the man in the footage is actually Ms Gardner’s boyfriend, before another camera angle pops up revealing that it is him.

“Stop that’s the girl, oh my God, oh my God, this is not happening,” the Disney Princess impersonator screamed as her friend gasped.

The friends then watched the man put his hand on the unknown woman’s shoulder, sending Ms Gardner into a panic before the video cuts out.

Then in the third video, the man can be seen pulling the woman in so her head rests on his shoulder.

In response, Gardner can be heard screaming as she runs towards the cabin door to go and find him.

“I’ll be right back,” Gardner said, however she was suddenly stopped in her tracks when her friend exclaimed: “he’s giving her his number”.

Gardner is then filmed yelling into a walkie talkie, telling the group there’s a “911″ emergency.

“We have a 911 on the upper Lido deck,” she said before screaming again due to the couple hugging.

“911 everybody go to the upper Lido deck right now!”

While it’s not clear what happened to the boyfriend, a fourth video titled “cruise cheater part four” showed some footage of a fire and rescue boat surveying the ocean next to the cruise ship.

The video was accompanied with a comment: “What happened with the cheater at the cruise? Hope you threw him off board”.

Gardner replied with the caption: “Use your power of deductive reasoning to piece together what happened … not tryna (sic) incriminate myself but.”

The videos sent the internet into a spin, with the clips receiving thousands of comments and collectively scoring just under 25.5 million views.

“Oh girl … I don’t know whether or not to congratulate you both on being a genius or apologise,” one empathetic woman said.

“I’m so stressed right now and it’s not even my boyfriend,” another comment read.

Meanwhile others pleaded to see the confrontation between Gardner and her partner.

“OK but what happened when you confronted him? What words were exchanged? How did you deal with rooms thereafter? I need to know!!!!,” one person begged.

While no confrontational videos were posted, Gardner did share two final instalments revealing how she dealt with the break-up and her relationship status.

In one post titled “cheating aftermath”, the Disney employee was filmed throwing her ex’s clothes outside her apartment window.

Then in a second clip she thanked her followers for embarking on her end-of-relationship journey and revealed she was single.

“Good evening passengers, this is your captain Hot Girl Summer speaking,” the video captioned.

“Thank you for joining us on the Carnival cruise … as we begin to prepare for takeoff please make sure your feelings are on aeroplane mode and your ex is left on read.”

Security footage is made available to passengers on most cruise ships through the cabin TV for a number of reasons as suggested by cruise-lovers who commented on Gardner’s videos.

“It’s for convenience in case you want to see how busy (an area is) or the weather before travelling across a giant ship,” one person said.

“They have cameras in case of accidents, assaults, etc but this works too,” another comment read.

Carnival Cruises cited on its website that a number of cameras are around their ships for guest safety and security, with some cameras using facial recognition technology to ensure the correct passengers board the ship.
