Disturbing footage showing an "abusive" husband slapping his new bride across the face has gone viral — and people are outraged.
In the short video, which has been shared on YouTube, the new bride innocently teases her new husband with some wedding cake, onlyfor things to suddenly take a sinister turn.
Clearly unamused with her attempt at playful behaviour, the husband turns to the new bride and forcefully strikes her around the face, leaving her shocked and upset.
Since the video was shared a few weeks ago there have been thousands of comments, with people horrified by the groom's "disgusting" behaviour.
Another posted: "I hope she never went through with the wedding."
Twitter users were just as outraged, taking to the social media site to vent their fury.
The viral clip, believed to have been filmed in Uzbekistan, shows the couple feeding each other their wedding cake as guests took photos at their reception.
But when she attempts to feed her spouse, who is dressed in a black suit with a matching tie, she teases him by pulling it away from his mouth.
Clearly not amused, the thug hits his wife across the face prompting gasps from stunned onlookers.
The woman, who is wearing a tiara, is nearly knocked off her feet by the horrific blow.
She is then seen holding her face as the aggressive man is pulled aside by a male guest.
While the clip is sparking fierce conversation, some social media users said it was not new footage.
