Posted by @Kelssseyharmon, the tweet includes a photo of her grandfather eating a burger and is captioned: "dinner with papaw tonight... he made 12burgers for all 6 grandkids and I'm the only one who showed. love him."
The tweet has been retweeted over 87,000 times with various messages of heartbreak and offers to join her grandfather for a meal.

@kaycutty tweeted: "Tell ur papa I'll be more than willing to eat a burger with him" and @CarlsonMiki_27 offered to go in place of one of the no-show grandchildren.
While another user asked for the Twitter handles of the other grandchildren, saying they needed to be spoken to, @kngphrn suggested the man adopt him.
