TV journalists fired after filming Brad's house

Two television journalists have been fired for trespassing at Brad Pitt's luxurious Hollywood Hills hideaway.

The TMZ.com celebrity website reported that the journalists, a camera operator and a producer for the E! entertainment news show, were sacked after an incident at Pitt's home last week.

The pair were alleged to have unchained a gate at the back of the complex before entering and filming the house.

They fled after being challenged by contractors carrying out work on the property, the report said.

A statement from E! said the two journalists had been "terminated".
