The fashion-forward stylings of London high-street brand Topshop are landing in Wellington, with the opening of what will be New Zealand's second Topshop store.
Come November 3rd, shoppers will no doubt be found queuing along Lambton Quay, the newest home of Topshop and Topman.
While the arrival follows the recently opened David Jones department store, it looks to be part of a wave of new offerings for Wellingtonians, with Australian footwear brand Wittner Shoes opening on Featherston St and Platypus Shoes settting up on Manners St from November 16.
Group MD for Topshop Topman New Zealand's operator Top Retail, Jamie Whiting, says the retail giant's arrival will contribute to the appeal of Wellington as a stylish city.
"Wellington is a city known for style, so bringing Topshop Topman to the capital feels like a perfect fit.
"Having seen the excitement with which Aucklanders embraced our first store, we're expecting even more of a buzz as Wellingtonians get to experience this quintessential London brand."
For punters keen to get a first look in at the two-level store, opening day will feature DJ's, goodies from local eateries and complimentary beauty touch-ups.
