Many dogs have more followers on Instagram than some of the world’s biggest pop stars. So who are some of the most Insta-famous dogs of the internet today?

Marnie

If you've never heard of Marnie - where have you been? This 14-year-old Shih Tzu was found smelly and matted on the streets of Connecticut in mid-2012 and quickly moved to a shelter. Known for her long, droopy tongue and her distinctive head-tilt, Marnie is hands-down the most popular rescue dog on Instagram - she even released her own book last year and has been profiled in the New Yorker. Menswear Dog
The most stylish dog on the internet, Menswear Dog (aka Bodhi) is a Shiba Inu with a penchant for Ted Baker, and looks better in a suit and sunglasses than most of us ever will. What began as a joke for Bodhi's owners soon become a viral sensation. In 2014, the Daily Mail reported Menswear Dog pulls in $15,000 every month through modelling gigs.

Chloe the Mini Frenchie

Chloe the mini French Bulldog lives in New York City and has been featured in Vogue and BuzzFeed showcasing her petite puppy style; she even has her own line of scarves created in collaboration with luxury scarf line Donni Charm. Chloe "uses her celebrity status to give back wherever possible," reads her website - for her second birthday, she threw a charity bash to raise money for the Humane Society of NY.

Theron Humphrey is the owner of rescue dog Maddie and he now boasts over a million followers on Instagram, thanks to his thoughtful curation of beautifully shot photos featuring Maddie.
