You can see the studio execs drooling over this idea: Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate and Selma Blair in a girlie version of Cam's gross-out smash, There's Something About Mary! We'll even get one of the Farrelly Brothers' offsiders to direct it!
Unfortunately that's where the "good" part of
the idea stopped and the "gross" part kicked in.
Diaz plays Christina, a San Francisco woman who can't meet the right guy. At a club one night with her buddies (Selma Blair, Cruel Intentions and Legally Blonde; Christina Applegate, Married ... With Children), she bumps into Peter Donahue (Thomas Jane) and decides he's the one. He's already engaged but Christina decides that marriage won't happen because she should be the bride.
Which is a cover for an appalling collection of gross jokes.
DVD features: movie (84min); film-makers' commentary; behind-the-scenes; storyboard comparisons; trailers; production notes; DVD-ROM content.
