If you're looking to sell your home or want to give it an expensive-looking revamp on a budget, a top interior design has shared a simple hack that will make your home look super luxe.
Victoria Gimson, Design Director and founder of Decorum Interior Design, revealed that incorporating the colourivory into your home is the single quickest and easiest way to make it appear far more expensive.
As reported by My Domaine, unlike saturated colors, the hue will never go out of fashion and is totally fool-proof.

She also says it will help add thousands to your property and ensure it sells quicker because potential buyers are more likely to think that a property has been well taken care of.
This, in turn, makes buyers believe they can move straight in with minimal effort so will pay a higher price - and quicker.

Explaining why the colour will add value, Victoria said: "Ivory gives the illusion of a fresh space so buyers are more likely to think that a property has been recently decorated and is well taken care of."
She explained that the hue is the most inoffensive and will work with any furniture a new buyer may have so buyers will feel they can move straight in with less to do.
"Ivory acts as a blank canvas to furniture, artwork and accessories and automatically creates a feeling of space so buyers will feel as though they are getting more for their money," she said.
Victoria emphasised that not everything needs to be ivory and the colour can look even more effective and expensive when contrasted with a deeper accent colour.
"Try white walls with a velvet sofa in a rich, jewel like shade such as indigo," she said. "This will act as an anchor to the room and also means that you don't need to feel precious about sitting on the sofa or spilling drinks."
Victoria says you should never be afraid to mix shades of white and cream together because it will avoid the contrived, matchy-matchy look, and will look much more fresh and modern.
She added: "A lick of fresh ivory paint is a minimal investment in time and money that could potentially increase sales figures by thousands."
