Feeling flush with cash and want to impress your mates by shouting them a meal? Look no further than this Americana bar and restaurant in London which recently crafted the world's most expensive burger.

Honky Tonk in Chelsea, west London, has created what they call "The Glamburger", packed with some of the most luxurious and pricey produce in the world - including our very own New Zealand venison.

The Glamburger also includes kobe beef from Japan, Iranian saffron, Candian lobster, and black truffle brie. On top goes maple syrup coated bacon, Beluga caviar and a hickory smoked duck egg covered in gold leaf. The bun is seasoned with Japanese matcha tea and capped in edible gold leaf. For a garnish? Mango and champagne jus and, the most expensive ingredient of all, grated white truffle.

A mere NZ$2240 is all you'll have to pay for this 2618 calorie feast. But, if this burger doesn't get you excited, read on for five other options to please your expensive palate.

The Diamond is Forever Martini, NZ$21,475

While the Australian Winston is officially recognised as the most expensive cocktail in the world, the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo's Diamond is Forever Martini actually takes the cake. The drink is chilled Grey Goose vodka with a hint of fresh lime juice. What pushes this tipple over the edge is the clear cut one-carat diamond resting at the bottom of the glass. Plus, while you sip, a band will serenade you with the song that this elaborate drink is named after.

Diamond nigiri sushi, NZ$2614 for five pieces

You can treat yourself to a plate of the world's most expensive sushi in the Philippines. Produced by Angelito Araneta Jr, this decadent delicacy is made up of five pieces of nigiri (that's rice topped with fresh fish), garnished with diamonds and wrapped in 24-karat gold leaf.

The World's Most Expensive Bagel, NZ$1275

The Westin Hotel in New York boasts the $1K bagel. Executive chef Frank Tujague is the brains behind this fancy bagel which features white truffle cream-cheese, goji berry infused with Riesling jelly and golden leaves.

The Big Apple is also the place where you can spend large on the most expensive frittata. At Norma's, in Manhattan's Le Parker Meridien Hotel, you can indulge in the Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata. It's made of US$650 worth of sevruga caviar and the rest of the hefty price tag comes from the cost of the whole lobster, chives and eggs.

Samundari Khazana, the World's Most Expensive Curry, NZ$4058

Back in 2009, London's Bombay Brassiere made the the world's most expensive curry to celebrate the DVD release of Slumdog Millionaire. Samundari Khazana is a generous platter heaving with Devon crab, Scottish, gold-coated lobster, four abalone, white truffle, quail eggs, and Beluga caviar. As with all other rich dishes, gold leaf lays on top.
