Modelling isn't all being pampered, putting on nice clothes and pouting in front of a camera. It requires work - especially during fashion week. But what exactly DO models do during that period of time? I asked two top New Zealand models travelling to Sydney for MBFWA to keep aniPhone-photo-fashion-week-diary to show us exactly what goes on over that busy period. Here are the results.

How many MBFWA's you've done?: None. This will be my first! How many shows you think you've booked?: 6 Best thing that has happened so far at MBFWA?: Theres a chance that I will get to hold a 2.5 metre albino python in one of my shows! Which i'm nervous and excited about! What are the three most important things a model needs during fashion week?: iphone + iphone charging case (can they just count as one?) a good book or magazine, and a good attitude... and snacks haha.
Name: Ella Verberne Instagram: @ellaverberne Age: 19 Agency: Clyne in New Zealand, IMG Models in Australia How many MBFWA's you've done?: 1 How many shows you think you've booked?: 12 Best thing that has happened so far at MBFWA?: The amazing outfit I'm wearing at Swarovski- it's an incredible jumpsuit covered in crystals. And daylight savings ends the day before fashion week starts - helps with those early mornings! (I found out that I have a 5am call time- that means a 4am wakeup!!!) What are the three most important things a model needs during fashion week?: Food, water, Berocca, coffee, makeup remover, a good book, sleep... the list goes on!
