'And now for something special,' said Mum.

Abbey wondered what it could be?

Mum bent down and put a little red lipstick on Abbey's lips. After that she rubbed something on to her cheeks.

'Oh yes,' she said. 'Nearly ready.'

The twins 'ooohed' and 'ahhhed' and ran in little circles around Abbey.

Finally, Gran brought out her special perfume in a beautiful, crystal bottle and puffed it behind Abbey's ears.

'You'll be the smelliest person there,' said Dad, grinning and flapping his hand in front of his face.
