It's fair to say 2017 has been a big year for Instagram. And while some of the biggest accounts still belong to the Kardashians, the most popular posts don't feature a single snap of Kim or her clan.

Instead, Instagram's 10 most liked posts of 2017 go to just three celebrities. Pop stars Selena Gomez and Beyonce and Portugese football star Cristiano Ronaldo brought in the double-taps with their babies, boyfriends and red carpet moments.

I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of.
