Another teen movie, this time about the boy — Ben Cronin (Jesse Bradford), star of high-school swimming team, serious student, with beautiful girlfriend, Amy (Shiri Appleby), and wise but grounded Coach Simkins (Dan Hedaya), who knows that Ben will swim to a golden future
unless his hormones get in the way of training.
Or unless he falls into bad company, which he does with new-girl-in-school Madison (Erika Christensen). Older viewers, of whom there won't be many, may start thinking of Fatal Attraction about now. Guilty Ben wants to forget the one-night dog-paddle. Madison refuses to end their relationship and begins to stalk Ben. When he tells her to get lost, there's a tragic event. Like Michael Douglas facing down Glenn Close, Ben has to take down Madison.
