A 26-year-old woman claims to have sold her virginity to a "Hollywood actor" for $1.93 million (1.3 million euro) on controversial auction website Cinderella Escorts. Source: Cinderella Escorts

A 26-year-old woman claims to have sold her virginity to a "Hollywood actor" for €1.3 million ($2.2m) on controversial auction website Cinderella Escorts.

The British woman, going by the name Jasmin, said she was "amazed" to be "bought" by one of her "favourite actors from Hollywood".

The same man allegedly bid on another virgin auction for a 19-year-old US model named Giselle last year, who ultimately sold her virginity for $3.9 million to an Abu Dhabi-based businessman, describing it as a "dream come true", news.com.au reported.

Cinderella Escorts said the actor outbid a German businessman on €1.1 million and a Manchester United football player on €600,000. It said the "date" would take place in April "in a hotel".

"This was an amazing experience," said Jasmin, who last year told the Sun her parents supported the decision. She was believed to be the first UK woman to join the highly disturbing trend.

"After I got public attention it took some months but finally I sold my virginity," she said. "Last week I dated three guys for dinner here in London. A football player from Manchester United, who [was] super nice to me.

"Also I've had a date with a businessman from Munich. He was a real gentleman and we really liked each other. But to be honest he was too old for me. The highlight was dating one of my favourite actors from Hollywood.

"Cinderella Escorts told me that he already bid for Giselle before but was outbid by another man. It was my pleasure to meet him. I would never have dreamed to get [such a] high price for my auction.

"But I am more amazed who bought my auction. It is so amazing. I love my decision to sell my virginity ... and I think every girl would do the same in my position rather than giving it to a man she later on nevertheless break up with [sic]."

In a video message, Jasmin said she was selling her virginity because she wanted to "travel the world", "maybe do a road trip around America" and "also maybe visit countries like Asia and Dubai".

"Also in the future I would really like to set up my own business and I feel like this would be an opportunity to move on in the world and progress. Obviously I would be doing it for financial reasons."

Jasmin told the Sun last year she respected "ladies who are traditional and want to wait for sex after marriage". "I was one of them," she said. "I really wanted to wait for the right one. But I don't want to wait any longer.

"So I chose another way which will make me happy. I am sure about my decision. Let's be honest, who would not prefer to take a million rather than having the first time again with a guy who most likely has already left?"

Cinderella Escorts, which is run by 27-year-old German man Jan Zakobielski, said it had a membership of "verified millionaires and billionaires" including celebrities.

"On the one side we offer them to meet international [models] and [actresses] or to join our celebrity parties," the website said.

"But on the other side it allows us also to give girls the opportunity to date wealthy guys or even stars like in Jasmin's case. It doesn't matter if we talk about our high class escorts or about our virgins.

"To have sex for money is a serious decision and a girl have [sic] to feel comfortable doing it. So we try our best to connect rich gentleman with our escorts and virgins and we are glad this was successful with Jasmin."

Cinderella Escorts takes a 20 per cent cut of the final bid. The website, which describes itself as "the world's most famous escort agency", has become notorious in recent years for selling the virginity of at least five young women so far.

Zakobielski told the Sun last year all virgins "need to show us a medical certificate that proves they are real virgins". He said most women who applied to sell their virginity were rejected, either because they failed psychological tests or if he believed they were being forced by someone else.

"Jasmin can stop the auction and take the offer whenever she feels comfortable," he said.

"Most times girls wait around three months 'til they finally accept the highest bid. We accompany the girls to the meeting and are in vicinity if problems arise.

"Of course the women can cancel the meeting at any point if they feel uncomfortable or the customer was unkempt or not a gentleman."

He said there was a huge demand for virgins. "Most rich men like exclusive things," he said. "For example a very old wine or a luxury car which is just produced 100 times. A woman can give her virginity just one time in her whole life, and she held it for 26 years in Jasmin's case. So Jasmin's virginity is not just rare, it's unique.

"Generally a lot more women have the courage to sell their virginity, even if the society is against it. But there are still taboos. I think in some years it will be nothing shocking anymore if a women wants to sell her virginity. So it is just a matter of time 'til we have more British virgins on our website."
