Stretch and grow leisurewear

There's a school of thought in fashion circles that tracksuits should be worn only while exercising. The crusade against stretchy leisurewear took a step backwards when Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani stepped out in this number.

It might have been a special occasion - carrying the Olympic torch in Milan - but when the sartorially elegant Signor Armani was undoubtedly ordered into the kind of white trackie favoured by ageing American tourists, there went any hope to keep them contained to workout areas. At least he had his black crewneck on underneath.
