Stars'n'stripes forever in Taranaki

Taranaki becomes the centre of United States culture for the Americarna festival from February 22 to 25. The growl of American muscle cars, hot-rods, street cars and choppers will mix with the sounds of jazz, country rock, and rock n' roll, and the food on offer will be as American as apple pie.

Events throughout the province end with a country fair extravaganza in New Plymouth on Sunday, where there's a chance to win a Corvette Stingray.
