Socialite denies drug use a reason for surgery

British socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson is considering surgery to correct her misshapen nose but any suggestion that she had taken drugs recently is "totally untrue", she said.

She admitted her nose shape has deteriorated over the past three or four years after being pictured with part of her nose buckled in, but warned that any suggestion of recent drug-taking would be met with legal action.

A spokesperson said Palmer-Tomkinson had gone out of her way to highlight the danger of drugs to others and that she has considered surgery to correct the damage to her nose.
