A mum has been slammed online after one of her friend's shared a lengthy list of rules for a sleepover she was hosting, which was was quickly labelled "insane".
"She makes her son's friends sign a contract before they sleep over," the Reddit user wrote, saying the woman had shared the list to her Instagram story on Sunday.
The rules begin by completely banning tickling, with penalties that could extend "until pickup time".
"Touching/tickling of other people will result in immediate physical separation that could remain in place until pickup time," the sleepover rules read.
The list of rules continues on to ban thing like "excessive volume of voice", "blasting the TV or iPad" and "complaining".
The list of rules then prompt the children, 10, to acknowledge and sign.
The post has gone viral over the past two days on Reddit, receiving more than 18,500 upvotes, and 1000 comments.
"That is completely insane," one person commented.
"I have kids games day at my house, and I talk to the parents and kids about house rules… but this is very odd," another commented.
"Honestly if I had kids and one of their friends' parents expected them to sign something like this I don't think I'd be comfortable letting my kid go spend the night," another person commented.
"This lady's kids are going to have NO friends," another joked.
