Searching for the perfect woman

It's a hard road finding the perfect woman, but the odds are certainly looking better in Wanaka this weekend.

Twenty-five ladies were tested yesterday with tasks ranging from beer-bottle opening to tyre-changing, truck-backing and dog whistling.

Courtney Morgan, 21, said she was "failing miserably, but having an awesome time" at the Perfect Woman Competition at the Wanaka Bullock Bar. She was encouraged to enter by her flatmate, a veteran of four Perfect Woman competitions.

The Perfect Woman wins a pallet of Speights.
