Scary fields of the Wairarapa

Scarecrows have begun to appear in the fields around Gladstone in the Wairarapa, all getting ready for the scarecrows' big day out on November 11. This fun day includes a scarecrow trail through the district, a scarecrow fair featuring plenty of scarecrow activities, a scarecrow village next to the Gladstone Inn and a scarecrow ball in the evening. There's also the scarecrow scamper, which is either a 5km or 10km fun walk/run.
