SAG Awards: Nicole Kidman's bizarre Gucci dress

Hollywood's finest TV and movie stars have walked the red carpet for this year's Screen Actors Guild Awards.

There were lots of different trends as many stars wore gowns that were either strapless, white, or had lots of block stripes.

Of course, a few flashed the flesh in gowns that had thigh high splits and racy necklines.

But one star that had the internet talking was Nicole Kidman who reminded many of a parrot with her Gucci gown.

Nicole Kidman chose to wear a Gucci green gown with a plunging neck line, which had what looked like parrots on either side of it on her broad shoulders. While it was haute couture to some, it did not go down well with onlookers.

Many jumped on social media to criticise her for it, saying it was a "crazy" choice" and "unconventional but it works". Others claimed it was a "polly want a cracker" dress and just couldn't get over its strange design.

So happy that Nicole Kidman found someone to cover her shift at the Emerald City Gates so she could attend the #sagawards tonight.
