New fabric at Fabric

Exciting new labels have recently arrived at Fabric - including new season Acne womenswear and shoes from Opening Ceremony. Online T-shirt nirvana Parinto.com has opened in Ponsonby, bringing the virtual world into reality. Attention emerging designers

2011 iD Dunedin is seeking local and international emerging fashion design talent for next year's event. The awards are open for entries, with the winners announced in Dunedin on April 7. Prizes for the global competition include $5000 for first place, $3000 for second and $1000 for third. To enter, designers must be recent graduates (within the past five years) or final year students from a recognised diploma, BDes, BA, MA Fashion, MA Jewellery or fashion related course. Dress swap

Tired of all your clothes? Looking for something new? Head along next Thursday, October 28, to Bar Twentyone at Skycity for an uber "dress swap" party. You can drop off any items you have to swap tomorrow or 30 minutes before the event kicks off.
