Recipe: Micheladas

All this food was making us thirsty, so Ramirez prepared micheladas. In another new trick, she rimmed the glass with magic powder mix - it was a taste explosion.

1 Corona
Juice of ½ a lime
Pinch of salt
Dash of Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce

For rimming the glass
Lime or lemon wedge
Kosher or super fine salt
Magic powder (chilli powder and salt) from a Mexican specialist

Rimming the glass:
1 Get a tall glass and wet the outside rim of the glass with a fresh lemon or lime wedge.

2 Fill a saucer or bowl with the salt and magic powder.

3 Dab the rim into the salt mix while slowly turning the glass so that only the outer edge is covered.

The Michelada:
Squeeze the lime juice into the glass, cover with ice, add the beer, Tabasco, Worcestershire and salt. Stir and enjoy.
