Rats and the city for NY restaurant

A trendy Manhattan restaurant that became a tourist destination after appearing in Sex and the City is the latest eatery to be closed by New York health inspectors since the emergence of a video showing a rat-infested fast-food joint.

The owners of the Coffee Shop in Union Square say they believe city health officials are trying to "save face and set examples" after the embarrassing footage from an outlet which had passed a check.

Inspectors found no rodents at the Coffee Shop, but listed violations including inadequately refrigerated raw hamburger meat and milk.
