Rachel Hunter rushed to hospital

Rachel Hunter has vowed to carry on with rehearsals for 'Strictly Come Dancing' despite suffering crippling stomach pain.

New Zealand model Rachel Hunter was rushed to a London hospital on Sunday after doubling up with stomach pains at the Dorchester Hotel, a British newspaper has reported.

Rod Stewart's ex-wife was sent to the emergency ward of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington after being struck by crippling pain.

The 35-year-old New Zealander was discharged and is currently awaiting the results of a series of tests.

The London Sun newspaper reported a source said: "She was in extreme pain. She is on very strong painkillers and is concerned about what the problem is. She has vowed to carry on with rehearsals - she's determined not to let anyone down."

Hunter is temporarily staying in the UK to film a Christmas special of BBC talent contest Strictly Come Dancing, where she is dancing with New Zealander Brendan Cole, 29, who judged New Zealand's Dancing With The Stars series.
