The service was friendly and efficient and went above and beyond the call of duty, I felt, when one bartender went outside to wipe down the tables and chairs to ensure dry bums all round for the customers. It's amazing how often little touches like that are overlooked in a busy bar.
The drinks were fine as well, although it's a slavishly Lion-supplied bar so spirits outside Lion's distribution range don't get a look in, cramping the spirits selection somewhat. The beer was good, though, with a decent selection on tap (including a rather expensive, but particularly nice, James Squire Pale Ale) and the Little Creatures range in the bottle. The wine list was also reasonably extensive.
The food looked good and relatively inexpensive for the area.
All in all, a decent enough bar and one I'll visit again, no doubt.
