Peregrin Took

Peregrin Took (Billy Boyd): Affectionately known as Pippin, a cousin of both Merry and Frodo, he has a knack of getting into scrapes, a talent which earns the rebuke "fool of a Took" from Gandalf in the Mines of Moria.

One of his darkest moments is as a captive of the Uruk-hai.

He and Merry have separated from the Fellowship and find themselves in Fangorn Forest, where they meet Treebeard. With Treebeard and the Ents, they wage war on Isengard and the evil Saruman.
