TONIGHT'S OPENING NIGHT CONCERT

* Air NZ Contemporary Stage (inside the stadium):

SATURDAY

* Air NZ stage:

* Community Employment Group Performing Arts Stage (near Motions Rd):

Getting there

BY BUS, TRAIN OR FERRY

* From South Auckland - take your normal train or bus to Newmarket and catch a Pacifika Festival bus directly to Western Springs. The buses will leave from the 277 stop in Broadway every 15 minutes between 9am and 1pm, returning every 15 minutes from 1pm to 6pm.

* North, East and City - take your normal bus, train or ferry to Downtown/Queen St and catch a scheduled or extra Route 045 bus to the festival.

* West Auckland - your normal bus service will take you via Great North Rd to Pacifika.

* Fares - normal fares will apply, and bus passes can be used. An $8 pass gives you a day's unlimited travel on Stagecoach and Link buses and Downtown Fullers ferries. A $16 group pass gives four people unlimited travel all day if they're travelling together.

DRIVING

* If you must drive, parking is available for $5 on the outer fields at Western Springs Stadium (enter from Stadium Rd), subject to weather.

There's also $5 parking at Western Springs College (enter from Motions Rd).

Gold coin parking on Seddon Fields (enter from Motions Rd or Meola Rd) subject to weather.

Unitec offers a free park-and-ride shuttle service from Seddon Fields and Unitec in Carrington Rd.

BIKES

* Bike stands are available beside Western Springs Stadium.
