Talkshow host Oprah Winfrey has unveiled her favourite things for 2007, surprising her loyal fans in the town of Macon, Georgia with a truckload of pre-Christmas presents.
The annual show is always a ratings winner and the products featured on the programme typically experience huge sales boosts in the months following the broadcast.
Every audience member who attends the screening on the day in question receives everything on Oprah's 20-item list.
This year, Oprah decided to surprise the residents of Macon, who have consistently brought in the highest regional ratings for The Oprah Winfey Show since it went national in 1986.
According to the oprah.com website, on any given day 45 per cent of the residents of the Georgia town are tuned in to the show.
Oprah's gifts to her loyal viewers included TOYWATCH Crystal and Colored Crystal watches, Perfect Endings Cupcakes from Williams-Sonoma and the Scrabble Premier Edition from Hasbro.
For movie buffs there was a copy of the United Artists 90th Anniversary Prestige Collection - A set of 90 of the company's best films - and the DVD set of The Discovery Channel's Planet Earth series.
The show, (which screened today in the US), also saw Oprah give away the most expensive item ever featured in one of her 'favourite things' shows, an HDTV Refrigerator from LG Electronics.
The top-of-the-line fridge not only stores and cools food, it's also a high-tech entertainment centre with an LCD TV, DVD hookup and a radio and slideshow option to display digital photos.
