New Zealand Opera is searching for a Mussolini look-alike for its production of Tosca.
The company is setting the opera in Rome in 1943, and needs a Mussolini to take the stage for about five minutes wearing an Italian general's uniform.
Hopefuls don't need acting experience, but must have a commanding presence,
director Jonathan Cocker says.
They should resemble the Italian dictator in stature and physique, and be balding or willing to shave their head for the opera's Wellington season.
