Convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby has been busy giving her first interviews since arriving back in Australia after spending almost a decade in a Bali prison.

But while many people tuned in to listen to her tell her story – at one point her eyes glazed over with emotion – others commented on how "amazing" the former felon looked.

The 42-year-old has appeared on both the Kyle and Jackie O Show and Studio 10 this morning, sharing previously unheard details about the moment she was convicted back in 2005 to promote her updated memoir My Story.

After both her guest appearances, Corby shared photos to her Instagram account, where many of her 167,000 followers praised how "healthy" she appeared.

"Wow you look amazing," one supporter wrote.

"You look stunning, such a healthy glow about you," another said.

Another replied with: "It's honestly so good to see you back on Australian soil … looking amazing too."

Others called her "attractive", "beautiful" and "stunningly gorgeous".

Corby even referenced her change of appearance during her Studio 10 chat when asked what she saw when she looked at the footage from her conviction.

"She doesn't have a double chin," Corby joked, something fans were quick to pull her up on.

"We don't see a double chin, we see a vibrant and strong young woman," one said.

However, the moment prompted one follower to ask: "Why did you do that to your face?"

In the past, people have commented on Corby looking better than ever despite spending a gruelling 10 years behind bars.

After a constant stream of questions from fans asking if she'd had any cosmetic enhancements, the former Gold Coast local took to her Instagram Stories in February 2018 to deny having Botox injections.

"I have facial movements … so stop with your supposed negative comments," she wrote over a video of her moving her eyebrows and smiling animatedly.

Cosmetic tweaks or not, Corby's appearance has blossomed over the years. After being released on parole in February 2014 she began to use make-up again, something most prisoners don't have access to. She also ditched the thin brows in favour of fuller ones.

Her eyelashes are also a lot longer and visible in photographs.

Corby, who returned to Australia on May 27, 2017 after being deported from Indonesia, made headlines around the world after being caught smuggling cannabis that was found inside her boogie board bag.

Despite being back in the country for more than two years, Corby had never given an interview until now, telling her Instagram followers she'd been "consciously avoiding the media".

"For so long Ive been consciously avoiding the #media. Today I faced my fears @studio10au thankyou for making it so easy for me. Chatting about my updated book @schapellecorbymystory," she wrote.
