"I just wash my bits and rush out in the morning and more often than not get in the bath after Andreas."
The designer has previously starred in a campaign for animal rights group PETA, which shows her having a shower.
In the video, she explains how she became a vegetarian not only because the meat industry is the "worst polluter of the planet" but also because it
"squanders most of our waters".
Westwood made her latest comments about washing after the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring/ Summer 2018 show during Paris Fashion Week.
Models were sent down the catwalk in an array of bizarre avant-garde ensembles - including bubble wrap hats, hard helmets, curtain poles and duvets.
Her husband's collections for her fashion label alternate with her own collections.
Speaking about the collection, which contains no less than 68 looks, Kronthaler said: "There is nothing better than giving people choice. We travelled quite a bit this summer and I tried to put it all into it."
He said he spent some of his time on holiday in a Tyrolean cowshed and named the dresses in his collection after the cows.
One outfit is called Vivienne after a calf his wife helped deliver. Two others, Naomi and Donatella, were also named after icons of the fashion world.
