A family has made a shock discovery next to their baby's cot.
Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers, a snake-catching based out of Australia, posted a photo to its Facebook page urging its followers to find the snake hiding in plain sight.

The snake grows up to one-metre in length, with its venom causing much swelling and pain to humans.
"A local was vacuuming his house today when he saw what he thought to be a young Brown Snake in the babies room!'' Max, a snake catcher, posted on Facebook.
"Keeping an eye on the snake he gave us a call and I rushed out. The culprit was actually a mildly venomous Yellow-faced Whipsnake."
