Candid camera
Stolen Girlfriends Club has once again worked with photographer Derek Henderson on their seasonal campaign. For autumn/winter 2012, they have captured model Georgia Fowler in a series of images of her hanging at home, wearing various SGC outfits while doing everyday things like ironing, dusting, baking and, er, playing with knives and pouring cereal over herself (very Lady Gaga in her Marry the Night music video). The collection that she's selling - called Here Lies the Bones - begins to arrive in stores from today.
Riding high
The Department Store is offering cute restored Cruiser bicycles for customers to rent and cycle around Takapuna - the idea being to do a spot of shopping then ride down to the beach for a swim and some gelato, perhaps from the Takapuna Beach Cafe. Called The Department Store Bike Loan, it is a collaboration between T White's Bikes and the Takapuna Beach Business Association. Make like singer Ruby Frost and take one for a spin this weekend: they are available at no charge from the Karen Walker counter at The Department Store, with credit card details and identification.
