An Aussie couple have shared photos of the newest member of their family on social media with one adorable difference - he's a puppy.
Abby Lee and Matt Kay with their photographer friend Elisha Minnette staged a newborn-style shoot featuring Humphrey the Groodle, a Golden Retriever x Poodle.
Minnette said that the couple had recently been asked by relatives when they were thinking about having kids and thought the heartwarming photoshoot with their new pooch could be "a great response".
The photos turned out to be a humorous take on a typical baby photoshoot that the photographer said she was more used to taking.
"We didn't ever intend to make fun of new parents sharing photos of their newborns, we just wanted to show a different kind of newborn."
The pooch happily posed up a storm featuring in both indoor and outdoor scenes. Some of the cute images show Humphrey being pushed in a stroller, wrapped up in a blanket and being cradled by his owners.
"Humphrey was a delight to shoot, he loved all the attention and the treats of course!"
