Queensland police have issued a desperate search online … for the owner of an abandoned wedding dress.
Taking to social media, Queensland police appealed for any information that may lead them to the owner of the white frilly frock.
The dress was found by a resident from Airlie Beach around12pm on September 21. According to police, the gown was neatly folded with a white veil in a box on the road in a carpark of holiday units in Hermitage Drive, Airlie Beach.
On Facebook, the post has already been shared 57 times in an attempt to quickly find the owner.
It's not the first time police have appealed for public help to track down a lost wedding dress. In February, a Brisbane bride was reunited with her wedding dress after Queensland Police put a call out on their Facebook page.
This gown was also found on a street, but instead of being in a box it was discovered in a garment bag.
