In a post to a popularFacebook group, the mum-of-two said that her toddler appeared to be having the "time of his life", so she felt happy to leave him while she did some work in the kitchen.
But Louis isn't the kind of kid you leave unsupervised for long periods of time.
Jessica frantically Googled ways to remove lipstick while her husband got to work cleaning their child.

She found a trick online, that required a $3.50 bottle of Morning Fresh dishwashing liquid and a bit of elbow grease.
"I rubbed it into the material with my fingers and it worked, I was so shocked!" Jessica told news.com.au.
Fighting her way through cramping and muscle spasms, Jessica worked her way through the lipstick stained couch and was completely gobsmacked at the result.

According to Jessica, the process took about three hours.
"I already had the dishwashing liquid on hand and thankfully it worked," she said.
"Once the lipstick was gone I wiped away the suds with a damp cloth."
But the finished result looked like the couch was brand new.
"I'm still in disbelief and continue to check the couch to see if it was all an illusion," she said.

She recommended the trick to anyone else with a cheeky little artist in the family, but warned parents to "test it first".
"I was lucky that I got onto it straight away, the couch fabric was able to get wet and I just kept going until it was done," Jessica said.
"It's now looks like nothing ever happened, all evidence has been destroyed and everything back to the way it was".

Jessica's story was immediately popular, with 3,000 people liking her post and hundreds of people commenting on her "genius" skills and her hilarious son.
"How bloody hilarious, what a little rabbit!" one woman wrote.
Another said they would be more worried about "wasting a whole tube of lipstick than the actual stains on the couch".
