This documentary follows four girls suffering from the incurable, genetic skin condition known as Harlequin Ichthyosis, where the continuous scaling of the skin causes facial features to disfigure. Babies born with Harlequin rarely survive, and these girls only do so thanks to
a strict round-the-clock regime.
