A Sydney woman dubbed "Mercedes Mum" after leading police on a high-speed chase at speeds of up to 200km/h while a young child sat in the car without a seatbelt is pleading for money online to fund her famously lavish lifestyle.
Margarita Tomovska shot to notoriety after she showed upto court over the alleged pursuit in her $260,000 Mercedes Benz wearing Gucci sunglasses worth $1725 and a skimpy Balmain dress costing about $2400.
The 27-year-old splashes her expensive shopping jaunts and casino visits on Instagram, but the mother says constant police attention has hindered her employment prospects, news.com.au reports.
So she did what any bereaved young woman in Valentino heels worth $1499 would do, set up a GoFundMe page.
Tomovska named the donation campaign "fight raptor" in honour of the New South Wales Police strike force that focuses on policing bikies and related criminal conduct.
"So I created this GoFund me to raise some support against the bullsh*t that they have done to me and everyone else. It's about time we fight back. Enough is enough!
"Thank you in advance for your support."
Tomovska was arrested in Helensburgh by Strike Force Raptor officers on December 12 last year after she allegedly sped away in her Mercedes and led police on a 10km chase.
When she was stopped, police allegedly found a three-year-old in the back, unrestrained and distressed.
She has pleaded not guilty to both charges and will face a hearing on August 30.
