Sport Bay of Plenty is on the hunt for single men to fill the seats at its inaugural Spin Speed Dating event.
Lycra is optional for this spin on speed dating, which will see singletons jump on a spin bike looking for love, or a bit of fun.
All levelsof fitness are welcome as the night is all about meeting new people, sharing good banter and hopefully rolling away with an attraction or two.
Communications advisor Danene Jones said while there were plenty of women signing up, men were the ones who seemed to be hesitating.
"There's no need for participants to reveal too much of themselves by wearing lycra.
"You can just wear comfortable clothes so there's nothing to be worried about."
She said they were still short of men in the 30 to 35, 40 to 45 and 50 to 55 age categories for the Thursday night event.
"We also have two spaces left for women, and we've had one 70-year-old female sign-up so would be great if there's a similarly aged male from Rotorua keen to come along."
